Cut the vegetables into long strips and cut the chicken into 4 pieces. Clean the chicken.

In a pot, sauté the onions, tomatoes, and spices. Add the chicken pieces after cutting and cleaning them. Pour in enough water to cover the vegetables and chicken.

In a bowl, combine 3 cups couscous (about 480 grams) with 1/4 cup oil (about 60 ml) and 2 cups cold water (about 480 ml). Mix the couscous with your hands to separate the grains.

Once the food starts to steam, place a steamer basket or colander with small holes over the pot and add the couscous. Steam the couscous for about 30 minutes. Season with salt to taste. Enjoy!
