Steps

In a cooker add some water and kadalai parupu and cook for 3whistles.

Keep aside. In a vessel add some oil and saute the spices, chillies, onions in a chopped manner.

Now mix the cooked kadalai parupu into this mixture. Take the bottle gourd, peel off it's skin and cut into small pieces. Add them also along with salt

Cook them for 3 mins, unit the raw smell goes off.

After it's cooked 3/4 add in the white rice. Mix well and sprinkle the coconut.

Serve hot.
