Ingredients

  • 2 cupsplain/AP flour
  • 1/2 cupunsalted butter(melted)(can substitute margarine)
  • 3 tbspliquid milk(substitute 3tbsp water +3tbsp milk)
  • 1 tspbaking powder
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • 2eggs
  • 1/4 tspsalt
  • Veg.oil to fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Sift flour and baking powder in a large bowl.

  2. 2

    Add in sugar,melted butter/margarine,milk,eggs,and salt.

  3. 3

    Mix well and knead till you get a smooth and elastic dough.

  4. 4

    Cover and let rest for 10mins.

  5. 5

    Flour a smooth surface and using your rolling pin roll flat till 1cm thick.

  6. 6

    Using a knife cut into 4×4cm squares and use a ruler or the blunt part of your knife to make crisscross on the top of each square.

  7. 7

    Deep fry in hot veg oil.

  8. 8

    Enjoy.
