Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaf,as asofoetida and chopped onions cook for a minute, add potatoes cook for 2 minutes in medium flame, after 2 minutes add tomatoes puree, salt and turmeric powder cook for 2 minutes.

Add garlic, ginger, chilli paste, red chilli powder, cumin powder and salt stir well, cook for 5 minutes in medium flame. Pour water simmer for 5 minutes.

Now take the fried papads, break them into pieces and add to the curry. Cook for 2 minute add garam masala powder, papad ki sabji is ready to serve.
