Wash dal and rice separately. Soak it separately for at least 4 hrs.

Grind it finely and mix it together and keep it for fermentation overnight.

The batter will double in quantity and will be light and fluffy.Add salt and little water to adjust the consistency.

Take a pan and apply oil and pour batter and spread. Make thick dosas like pancakes. Serve with chutney of your choice.
