Ingredients

  • 2 cupsrice
  • 500 mlsbowl, left over banga soup
  • 1 handfulcrayfish and two seeds ehuru (blended together)
  • Pepper, salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 cupPeriwinkles
  • Protein of choice (I used smoked fish)

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the rice and parboil

  2. 2

    Wash the periwinkles thoroughly and boil together with your protein

  3. 3

    Bring the parboiled rice to boil with water level with the rice, add the periwinkles and stock, add the banga, add the other ingredients

  4. 4

    Cook till rice is tender, adjust seasoning and serve
