Ingredients

  1. 1 cuprava
  2. 1 tbspbesan/gram flour
  3. 1 cupcurd
  4. 2 tbspcapsicum chopped
  5. 1 tspgreen chilli paste
  6. 2 springscurry leaves
  7. 2 tbspcoriander leaves
  8. 1 tspmustard seed
  9. 1 tspcumin seeds
  10. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  11. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  12. 1 pinchasafoetida
  13. to tasteSalt
  14. 1 sachetENO
  15. 2 tbspoil
  16. 2 tbsptomato chopped

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl add rava, besan, turmeric, chilli powder, salt.

    Add curd and all vegetables curry leaves and chilli paste. Stir to mix well. Rest for 10 mins.

    Add eno and gently mix.

    Heat a pan, add oil, rai, curry leaves and let it splutter.

  5. 5

    Now pour the batter over the seasoning, gently shake the pan to let the batter level on it's own.

    Cover and cook on medium to low heat for 15 minutes.

  7. 7

    Now to flip the handvo with a help of a plate invert the pan on the plate and slide the handvo back in the pan. Cover and cook for 10 minutes again.

    Check by inserting a tooth pick. If it comes out clean the handvo is done.
