Ingredients

  1. 1 cuprice flour
  2. 1 cupchana dal flour
  3. 1 cupmaize flour
  4. 1/2 cupudad dal flour
  5. 1 cupgrated bottle guard
  6. 1 cupgrated carrots
  7. 1 teaspoonsalt
  8. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  9. 3 tablespoonsoil
  10. 1 tablespoongreen chilli paste
  11. 1 teaspoongrated ginger
  12. 1 tablespoongarlic paste
  13. 2 teaspoonsCurry leaves
  14. 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  15. 1 tablespoonsesmee seeds
  16. 1 teaspoonasafetida
  17. 1/2 teaspooncarrom seeds
  18. 1 cupsour buttermilk
  19. 2 tablespoonschopped peanut
  20. 1 teaspoonbaking soda

Cooking Instructions

    In a mixing bowl add all flour, salt, turmeric powder, buttermilk, and required water and mix well make semi thick batter

    Cover and keep aside for 6 hours, then add grated bottle guard and carrots

  3. 3

    In a pan add oil, heat it add mustard

  4. 4

    Then add asafoetida, carom seeds and sesame seeds

  5. 5

    Then add curry leaves and ginger, garlic and chilli paste

  6. 6

    Then add chopped peanut and cook for 1 min.

    Then add this mixture into batter and mix well. Before making add baking soda and mix it.

    In a pan add 1 teaspoon oil and pour 1 cup of batter and cover and cook for 3 mins in low flame.

    Then turn it and cook for 3 mins.

    Then serve it in serving plate and garnish with ketchup.
