Ingredients

2-3 servings
  1. 1 cupyellow moong dal
  2. 1onion
  3. 1/2capsicum
  4. 3green chillies
  5. 1 tspcurry leaves
  6. 2 tbspchopped coriander
  7. 1carrot grated
  8. 5-6 garlic cloves
  9. 1 inch ginger
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. 1/4 tsphaldi ( turmeric)powder
  12. To tasteRed chilli powder
  13. 1 tspajwain (carom seeds)
  14. As neededOil
  15. 3-4 tbspwater

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak the dal for 4-5 hrs or overnight.

    Keep all ingredients ready.

    Drain the water of dal and wash again and strain it. Add it to a grinder along with onion, capsicum, green chillies, curry leaves, ginger, garlic, haldi powder, red chilli powder and ajwain and add little water.

    Make a smooth paste and add chopped coriander and grated ginger and salt to taste.

    Mix everything well and take a nonstick pan and put few drops of oil and make chillas.

    Serve with chutney of ur choice. I have served with tomato chutney.
