Salmon pad thai
#mycookbook. It's been a good fishing season. So I decided to make this salmon pad thai with the freshest wild salmon available. You can also add some scrambled egg to this dish if desired. I opted out on this round.

Aubergine and Pepper Miso Stir Fry
This is common home cooking in Japan. It is called a stir fry but is more simmered dish. When I was there I cooked with pork often. Now I know it's also good with ground beef and even with chicken breast. When you add what ever meat you choose, add after step 6. We had leftover ginger pork so I cooked without meat this time. Since miso has good flavour it was still good.

Grilled Honey Prawns Skewers (Bali Style)
I miss Bali soooo much!!! Now I’m still trapped somewhere far away, can’t go back home and travel due to this pandemic. So I tried to make one of my favorite dishes, “Sate Udang”.

Sautéed Broccoli and Beef with Sesame Gravy
Since I will have an exam next week. My friend and I decided to meet up at the campus for a study group. And we also decided not to go out for lunch. Because we don’t want to waste our time for looking the restaurant, go there, waiting for the food, eating ,and again go back to the campus. So we decided to bring foods from home to share. Since two of my friends are going to bring the dessert and snacks, then I decided to bring rice complete with the dishes. So I made non spicy sautéed broccoli and beef with sesame gravy, deep fried chicken wings, and sliced omelette. I intended to make all the food non-spicy, because one of my friend, she doesn’t eat spicy food. Long story short, after I made the food than I arranged into a bento lunch using the takeout box. My friends were so happy. They’re enjoying every bite of the food. So, today I am going to share one of the recipe of those food. I am going to share how to make sautéed broccoli and beef with sesame gravy. Ops I forgot, I left the leftovers of the broccoli and beef for my hubby. And when I got home, it was already gone. He ate whole thing. When he came home from exercising he said that “the broccoli and beef was so delicious “. Of course I take that compliment, because it makes me happy 😊All right let’s jump to the recipe. Shall we....?

Salmon Shioyaki
apanese restaurant style salted salmon with crispy skin done in the air fryer. Simple and delicious! The amount of salt needed to marinate the salmon fillets is five percent of the total salmon weight. Make sure the salt is sprinkled onto both the skin and the flesh.

Sweet and Sour Stir-Fried Chicken Thighs with Bell Peppers
The sweet and sour flavor is just right! It goes perfectly with rice and even better with a cold beer. Even my kids, who usually dislike bell peppers, ask for seconds. The origin of this recipe: I love sweet and sour flavors!

Salmon&Cabbage Stir-Fry Miso Sauce
This is stir-fry with miso sauce dish. I used salmon this time but chicken or pork are also good!

Fire Roasted Habanero Salsa Verde (HOT!!🔥)
OK, most of my recipes are geared more towards the masses versus the few. This one is a major exception. This is a very high heat level for salsa at a good 9 out of 10! It packs a serious punch but at the same time is very flavorful and tangy. Be careful but ENJOY!!

Fried Rice with Salmon Flakes
I used to eat this for lunch all the time when I was a university student. I remembered the recipe and made it again.Since the salmon flakes are already salty, adjust the amount of salt to taste. Recipe by TWOHEARTS

Is very simple Japanese dish 😋

Sweet and sour pork
I am a big fan of our local mall's sweet and sour pork. Mainly because of the meat, which they keep separate from the sauce until you order. This guarantees crunchy, juicy meat every time. So of course, I do the same with mine.

General Tso Chicken
This is my version of the classic General Tso Chicken which is served in almost all American Chinese restaurants. Of course, this is all about the sauce. I used a variety of vegetables in my version and the great thing about a lot of Chinese dishes is you can substitute any vegetables you like.

Salmon sarciado
Sarciado is one of my favourite ways to enjoy a simply fried piece of salmon. The slight acidic bite helps to cut the oiliness of the fish, while the sweetness keeps you coming back for more. I learned the basics of the recipe from my mum and my aunt. Unlike traditional sarciados, theirs don't feature eggs, so neither does mine.

Brad's harvest king salmon
This is my harvest inspired salmon dish. I tried to focus on the freshest ingredients available locally. The salmon I caught. And the vegetables and dairy are all from small local businesses. This dish includes a pan seared salmon, with a herb parsnip puree. A harvest leek succotash. And topped with a pancetta marscapone cream sauce. Fall is awesome.....

Spicy cucumber kimchee
A side dish I grew up with almost with every meal. A spicy Asian side kick to go with your rice dish. Enjoy!

Chili Lime Coconut Salmon
A few years ago my wife went paleo for a bit, which of course meant I went paleo, too. The best part of the experience was a recipe for chili lime chicken wings from Nom Nom Paleo. It's fantastic, please check it out. Anyway, I adapted the recipe to make this dish. I used salmon because its flavour holds up to the punchy sauce. It's not paleo, but it's still good.

Sesame salmon with egg fried rice and paksoy
This recipe is one of my favourite ways to make salmon. The combination of sesame salmon with egg fried rice and paksoy is delicious. If you like, you can cut the paksoy even smaller and mix it in with the fried rice! Enjoy!

Cajun Seafood is amazing. But do you know what’s even better? Make it Asian! We’re going to use some enoki mushrooms and variety fish balls, the kind you use for hot pot!

Salmon Donburi (Salmon rice bowl)
I'd like to show you how to prepare to eat raw salmon. This time I made a Donburi dish. I served it with steamed rice, but if you wish, sushi rice is also good with it. I learned this technique from my mother, she used had the Japanese Restaurant in USA.

Moqueca De Peixe E Camarão
#Mycookbook Probably one of my favorite stews growing up. Every time I have it I picture myself enjoying it on the beach looking out into the ocean. We make it a little different each time (depending on ingredients on hand) try it, I promise you'll LOVE it!
