Easy Beef Curry with Store-Bought Roux and Sliced Beef Easy Beef Curry with Store-Bought Roux and Sliced Beef
You can easily make delicious beef curry with store-bought roux, even without using large chunks of meat. This recipe is a slight adaptation of the curry my mother used to make. I find that when making beef curry, it's better if the potatoes don't dissolve too much, allowing the flavorful roux to shine, but it's up to your preference. のり子のおかず♪Translated from Cookpad Japan -

Easy Chicken Curry (Addictive) Easy Chicken Curry (Addictive)
This curry is easy to make with just a few ingredients. Cleanup is super easy too. It was featured in the May 10, 2007 release of 'Highly Praised Side Dishes'.The origin of this recipeI adapted a recipe taught to me by my sister. Since then, I make either this smooth curry or the thick curry with store-bought roux depending on my mood. (Sometimes I crave the thick curry...)The origin of the name... An ex-boyfriend asked for the recipe right after we broke up. He suddenly craved it. I kindly shared it with him, hence the bold name of this recipe. スガシカコTranslated from Cookpad Japan -
High Protein Chickpea Curry High Protein Chickpea Curry
I absolutely love curry.I love chickpea curry too, and have tried various curry recipes.I came up with this original recipe by using various delicious ideas from different chefs. The combination of spices is pretty random. This recipe is actually quite easy to follow!Add the spices with periodic taste-tests.I think the key to making this curry delicious is to use different kinds of curry powder. That's why I gave a wide range to the amount of curry powder to add.Adding spices while tasting your dish is so much fun! Recipe by Senchiko cookpad.japan -
Curry Pizza Curry Pizza
This pizza has been popular with my kids ever since they were small, and even now that they are in high school. I guess this curry taste is soul food for Japanese people. You can also use curry powder instead of curry roux, but it will not thicken. This is all right for the pizzas, but it will be difficult to use as a filling for curry bread. I recommend using curry roux. Recipe by Koba cookpad.japan -

Delicious and Easy Keema Curry Using Store-bought Roux Delicious and Easy Keema Curry Using Store-bought Roux
I also make keema curry with curry powder, but when I don't have any powder in stock, I make a lot of curry by using store-bought roux, and then freezing it after letting it cool and wrapping them separately in plastic wrap. There was a lot of difference in taste when I made it with caramelized onions! The carrots are grated to save time.Make sure to freeze the onions by flattening them. It'll take time to cook if they're a thick block. I heard from a friend of mine who was watching the TV-show "Hanamaru Market" about the how-to of making caramelized onions.Skim off the scum if this bothers you. Recipe by Iku.. cookpad.japan -
Authentic Beef Curry Using Store-Bought Roux Authentic Beef Curry Using Store-Bought Roux
Make authentic-tasting curry using store-bought roux. This recipe is a staple in our home. By microwaving the potatoes and carrots before adding them, they won't fall apart. My husband prefers all the onions sliced thinly, but you can also add some cut into wedges and lightly sautéed along with the potatoes and carrots. せいら758Translated from Cookpad Japan
