Just soooo good!!! Also #glutenfree #dairyfree and #vegan

Bournville has a high sugar content so I didn’t need any extra in the crumble. But if you use a more bitter dark chocolate you may like to add a few tablespoons of sugar into the crumble mix.

Ingredients

  1. 4large ripe pears
  2. 100 gdark bournville dark chocolate, finely chopped
  3. 1 cupblanched hazelnuts (or ground hazelnuts if you don’t have a miller or grinder)
  4. 2 tbspbuckwheat flour (or sub for regular whole meal flour)
  5. 25 gStork margarine (or butter)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Peel, core and quarter the pears. Lay them in a baking dish.

  2. 2

Roughly grind your hazelnuts, I have a ninja bullet milling blade that does mine. Otherwise chop them up as best you can.

  3. 3

Add the buckwheat flour and margerine and use your fingers to rub it into large breadcrumbs.

  4. 4

Stir in the chopped chocolate to the crumble mix. Sprinkle the mix over the pears and bake for 30 mins at 200 C.
