  1. Soaking Ingredients
  2. 2 tbspRaisins
  3. 3 tbspchopped nuts (almonds & chashews)
  4. 3 tbspdried berries
  5. 2 tbspcandied cherries
  6. 2 tbspdried apricots
  7. 2 tbspdried plums
  8. 2 tbspdates
  9. 1 CupPackaged Orange Juice
  10. Dry Ingredients
  11. 2 CupsAll-purpose Flour
  12. 1 tspBaking Powder
  13. 1/2 tspBaking Soda
  14. 1/4 tspnutmeg powder
  15. 1/2 tspcardamom powder
  16. 1/2 tspcinammon powder
  17. Wet Ingredients
  18. 1 CupMilk
  19. 6 tbspoil
  20. 1/2 CupCaster sugar
  21. 1 tspVanilla Extract
  22. 2 tspsynthetic Vinegar
  23. Sugar Syrup
  24. 6 tbspgranulated sugar
  25. 4-5 tbsphot water
  26. Some tutti fruti and nuts for garnish

Cooking Instructions

    Soak all the dry fruits in orange juice for minimum 2 to 3 hours or if you have time soak overnight in fridge.

    For sugar syrup melt granulated sugar until golden colour and then add hot water and mix vigorously to make syrup.

    Keep aside and let it cool.

    Now in a bowl take all wet ingredients except vinegar and beat until sugar dissolves.

    Sift all dry ingredients and mix well. Do not overmix.

  6. 6

    Then add the cooled sugar syrup.

  7. 7

    Add all the soaked dry fruits. (squeeze properly and then add)

  8. 8

    Preheat the oven at 180 degrees celcius.

    Now add vinegar generously mix and pour the batter in mould and bake it at 180 degree for 45 mins.
