Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cupchopped methi/fenugreek leaves
  2. 1 cupwheat flour
  3. 1/2 cupchopped coriander leaves
  4. 1/4 cupbesan/gram flour
  5. 2 tspmaida/All-purpose Flour
  6. 2 tbspoil
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1 inchginger
  9. 2-3garlic cloves
  10. 2green chillies
  11. 1 tspred chilli powder
  12. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  13. 1 tspcoriander powder
  14. 1/2 cupcurd
  15. 1 tspajwain/carom seeds
  16. as neededGhee for cooking

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Take a grinder jar add chilli,ginger and garlic and make a paste.Now take a bowl,add flour,add spices and methi,coriander leaves and chilli paste and curd and oil and make a dough and keep it rest for 10 minutes.

    Now make small balls and make a thin chapatis and cook it on a tawa using ghee on both sides till little golden and crispy from both sides.

    Now make all the theplas and serve it with curd or pickle.Our delicious methi theplas are ready to serve.Enjoy
