Ingredients

  1. 300 gmPaneer
  2. 2bay leaves
  3. 2dry red chillies
  4. 1cinnamon stick
  5. 4-5green cardmoms
  6. 4-5cloves
  7. Some chopped coriander leaves
  8. 4chopped onions
  9. 13-14garlic pieces
  10. 1 tbspchopped ginger
  11. 7chopped tomatoes
  12. Some cashew nuts
  13. 2green chillies
  14. 1 tspturmeric powder
  15. 1 tspred chilli powder
  16. 1 tspkasuri methi
  17. 3-4 tbspbutter
  18. 3-4 tbspoil
  19. to tasteSalt
  20. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  21. 1/2 tsp sugar

    Shallow fry the paneer cubes into butter. Add turmeric and red chili powder to it.

    Now to make curry hear butter or oil into another pan and add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom

    Now add chopped onions, ginger, garlic and fry for 2-3 mins

    Now add tomato, cashews, salt and fry it for 6-8 mins. Churn it in a mixture jar and convert it to a paste.

    Again heat oil and butter in a pan and add turmeric powder and red chili powder.

    Add the paste in the pan and stir it well for a while. Add water and salt and cook it for a while.

    Now add paneer and garam masala. Cook it for some more while.

    Tempting paneer butter masala is ready to serve with rice or paratha.
