Ingredients

Preparation time-35 mins, Cooking time-20 mins

  1. 1 cupMasoor Dal soaked for 30 mins
  2. 1medium size onion chopped
  3. 1” ginger chopped
  4. 2-3green chilies chopped
  5. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  6. 1 tspred chilli powder
  7. 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  8. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  9. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  10. 1/4 cupbread crumbs
  11. As requiredOil to shallow fry
  12. As per taste Salt
  13. as requiredCoriander leaves, sliced onions to garnish

Cooking Instructions

Preparation time-35 mins, Cooking time-20 mins

    In a wok heat oil, add cumin seeds when it splutters, add chopped onion, chopped ginger and chopped green chilies. Stir for 2-3 mins

    Add coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Stir for 1 min and add Dal. Cook for 4-5 mins

    Add salt and add 1/2 cup water. On low flame cook until Dal is completely cooked

    Set aside. Cool and add to the blender. Blend smooth

  5. 5

    Add bread crumbs in one plate and the blended Masoor Dal on one. Make Tikki’s and smear with bread crumbs. Once done, set aside. Complete the batch

    In a wok heat oil and shallow fry the Kababs 2 mins each side. Set aside and complete the batches

  7. 7

    Plate, garnish with coriander leaves, sliced onions and enjoy with dips of your choice
