Ingredients

25 minutes prep time:-40 minutes
2-4 servings
  1. 1 glassbasmati rice (orange rice recipe is also posted recently on my profile)
  2. 1/2 teaspoonorange food colour
  3. As neededWater for cooking rice
  4. 1/2 cuphomemade mawa(recipe is posted on my profile)
  5. 1/2 cupghee
  6. 4-5green cardamoms
  7. 1/2 cupsugar
  8. For garnishing:-
  9. 1/2 cupmixed nuts boiled (cashews,almonds,raisins)
  10. as requiredUsed readymade gulab jamuns for garnishing(red & white)
  11. as neededHomemade tutti frutti for garnishing (recipe is on my profile)

Cooking Instructions

25 minutes prep time:-40 minutes

    Firstly mix clarified ghee,milk,milk powder for preparing instant mawa in microwave mix well and pop it in microwave in 2-3 intervals the mawa is ready set aside to cool.

    Further for orange rice I have washed & soaked basmati rice for 30 minutes then added orange food colour and boiling it until 70-80% cooked and drained its water spread it on a plate for separated strands of rice. Further take a wok add ghee to it and crackle cardamoms for 30 seconds then pop in the cooked rice and sugar mix with light hands and set it on low flame burner to cook for 3-4 minutes once the sugar melts it will be nice & juicy off the flame burner.

    Now add 1/2 mawa mix with rice lastly when it’s warm pop it in a serving plate and garnish with nuts,gulab jamun,mawa,tutti frutti and enjoy it...!
