Ingredients

  1. For batter
  2. 2 cupchickpea flour
  3. 1/2 cupcurd
  4. 1 tspchilli ginger paste
  5. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  6. To taste salt
  7. 2 tbsplemon juice
  8. 1 cupwater
  9. 3/4 cupwater
  10. 1 packetfruit salt
  11. For tempering
  12. 2 tbspoil
  13. 1 tbspmustard seeds
  14. 1 tbspsesame seeds
  15. as required Few curry leaves
  16. 3-4slit green chillies
  17. 3 tbsp sugar
  18. 1 tbspcoriander leaves finely chopped

Cooking Instructions

    Take chickpea flour in mixing bowl, add chilli ginger paste, turmeric powder, lemon juice & salt. Now add curd & water, mix well to smooth batter, take care no lumps formed.

    Boil water in steamer, now put grease tray & turn on the flame. Allow water to boil.

    Now add fruit salt to batter & stir evenly, batter would be forthy. Pour batter to hot tray.

    Steam for 10-12 minutes.

    Heat oil in pan add mustard, when splutter, add asafoetida, curry leaves. Stir for second, now add sesame seeds, green chillies. Stir for second. Add coriander leaves.

    Now carefully add water & give one boil, then add sugar & cook till its dissolve. Now pour this tempering on sliced khaman & serve with besan chutney(kadhi).
