Herbed Steamed Rice

A simple yet unique rice meal, seasoned and flavored with herbs... The texture, aroma and taste is so so amazing👌. Just follow the step by step method and you get there, you can also substitute some of my herbs with your herbs of choice.
Cooking Instructions

Wash rice and strain in a colander, using pestle and mortar I grouded all my dried spices, chopped other ingredients. Boil chicken with onions, garlic and salt for. 15 minutes and keep aside.

Add oil in a pot, when hot add onions and stirfry till soft

Then add up the herbs on moderate heat.

Stir occasionally untill mixture turn dark golden borwn, the essence of this fry is to explicitly bring out the flavor of the onions and herbs...

Add the rice

Add crushed scotch bonnet, knorr seasoning and sprinkle salt. Note do not add water... Mix and on low heat allow to steam for 10-15 min...this steaming makes the rice to capture all the flavor

Then after 10-15 min pour in your Chicken and the broth, you can add water as required to cook the rice soft. Cover your pot and allow to cook on moderate heat..
