PALAK PANEER
Palak Paneer is very popular paneer dish which is staple in North India and one if the most commonly made Paneer dish. As its name says this is a spinach curry and cottage cheese preparation.
There are many ways to make palak paneer, here I have made very simple and basic palak paneer. In restaurant style palak paneer, cashew-onion paste is used. Among various Paneer dishes, palak paneer is healthier because of Iron rich spinach.
It pairs best with paratha or naan.

PALAK PANEER
Palak Paneer is very popular paneer dish which is staple in North India and one if the most commonly made Paneer dish. As its name says this is a spinach curry and cottage cheese preparation.
There are many ways to make palak paneer, here I have made very simple and basic palak paneer. In restaurant style palak paneer, cashew-onion paste is used. Among various Paneer dishes, palak paneer is healthier because of Iron rich spinach.
It pairs best with paratha or naan.
Cooking Instructions

Wash and clean spinach and roughly chop it.
Blach it for 2-3 mins and rinse immediately with cold water and let it cool in vessel with cold water and few ice cubes in it. This will prevent the spinach to overcook and keep the colour intact. - 2
Once it cools down completely, drain out all the water and blend it in a puree.
Cut Paneer in small cubes and Soak it in warm water for a while. - 3
Heat oil and saute onions till they turn translucent.
Add ginger-garlic-chilli and saute for 1-2 minutes.
Now add tomato puree. Turmeric powder and saute till it leaves oil, stir continuously. - 4
Add spinach puree and little water and mix well and let it cook for 2-3 mins on a medium flame.

Add salt garam masala and fresh cream and mix well. Finally, add Paneer cubes. Mix gently and after 1-2 mins turn off the flame.

Serve hot with your choice of flat bread.
