  1. 1/2 cupWhite lentil -

  3. as per taste Salt
  4. 1 tbspRed chilli powder -
  5. 1 tbspCumin powder -
  6. as per taste Black salt
  7. as taste Date and tamarind chutney
  8. as required oil for fry
  9. 2 cupsYogurt -
  10. 1/2 cupGreen Moong Dal-
  11. 1 tbspGinger and chilli paste-
  12. as per need Coriander leaves
  13. 1/2 cupwhite lentil soaked for 4 hrs
  14. 1/2 cupgreen Moong dal soaked for 4 hrs

Cooking Instructions

    Grinding the batter and also fine paste.

    Add ginger chilli paste to the batter and mix them well.

  3. 3

    Add soda and mix it again.add salt

  4. 4

    For frying the vada,now take a kadhai on gas stove and pour oil for hot.

    Frying the vada when vada becomes golden brown.

    Soak all vadas in water for 20 mins

  7. 7

    After 20 mins,then just press the vada and drain water all the vadas.

    Then add salt in yogurt

    Vada in serving bowl,pour it in chilled yogurt.

    Then add date and tamarind chutney.

    Then sprinkle some red chilli powder,cumin powder,black salt and coriander leaves.

    Now delicious Dahi vada ready to serve
