Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash and soak barnyard millet for at least 4-5 hours or preferably overnight.
- 2
After 4 hours drain the water and blend the barnyard millet in a mixer. Do not add water at this time. Grind it to get a smooth paste.
Take sabudana in a mixer grinder and blend to smooth powder. Mix both of them well. - 3
Pour the batter into a mixing bowl. Add rock salt to taste. Whisk the batter well with water to make a dosa-like consistency.
- 4
Heat an iron griddle and pour a ladleful batter on the griddle. Spread it in a circular motion to make dosa. Smear it with some oil or ghee.
- 5
The Crispy and thin dosa is ready to be served with coriander chutney or coconut chutney.
