Wheat Seviyan/ Mithi Sev

Wheat Seviyan is also known as ghaun ni mithi sev in Gujarat. It is a must dish prepared on Holi. It is served with the full meal on the day of Holi. It can be even served as a dessert. It is a very easy and quick recipe which can be prepared in 10 minutes. It tastes delicious served warm.

Ingredients

  1. 200 gramwheat sev
  2. 4 cupswater
  3. 4 tbspghee
  4. 1/2 cuppowdered sugar
  5. 1/4 tspcardamom powder
  6. 1 tbspalmond chopped
  7. 1 tbspcashew nuts chopped

Cooking Instructions

    Boil water and add wheat sev to it. Cook it for or 5 to 8 minutes or until done. Strain it.

    Now add ghee, sugar, almonds, cashew nuts and cardamom powder to it and mix it well.

    Serve mithi sev while it is still warm. It can be served as a part of your meal or even as a dessert.
