Ingredients

30-35 minutes
8-10 gulab jamu
  1. For Sugar Syrup:
  2. 400 gmSugar
  3. 3 cupsWater
  4. For Filling:
  5. someMelon Seeds
  6. somePistachio
  7. someAlmonds
  8. someAlmondette Seeds/Chironji/ Charoli
  9. few threadsSaffron
  10. 1 tspCardamom Powder
  11. 2-3 spoonMawa/Khoya
  12. 1 PinchTandoori Color
  13. For Gulab Jamun/Mawa Bati:
  14. less than 1/2 KgMawa
  15. 7 tbspWhite Flour/Maida
  16. 4 TbspMilk Powder/Paneer
  17. 1-2 tbspWater
  18. as requiredGhee/Oil - For frying

Cooking Instructions

30-35 minutes

    For Sugar Syrup, Put Sugar & Water in a pan. When Sugar gets melted, cook it for 4-5 mins & make a sticky Sugar Syrup.

    For Filling, in a bowl, put some Melon Seeds, Pistachio, Almonds, Almondette, Saffron, Cardamom Powder, Mawa, Tandoori Colour. Mix them well and make small balls of them.

    For Gulab Jamun, take a steel parat, put some Mawa/Khoya and mix it & make it smooth. Then add All-purpose Flour, Milk Powder, Water gradually in it & mix them well. Make a dough ball press it with your fingers and fill the filling in it and then give it shape. Fry them in Ghee/Refined Oil on medium flame. Put the Mawa Bati in the Sugar Syrup for 3-4 hours. In this way, Halwai Style Mawa Bati/Gulab Jamun is made.
