Ingredients

5 to 6 people
  1. Half kg bhindi
  2. 1chopped onion
  3. 1 tablespoonrefined oil
  4. 1 tspMustard seeds
  5. 1 tspcumin seeds
  6. 2 tspRed chilli powder
  7. 1/2 teaspoonasafoetida
  8. 1/2 tsp turmeric
  9. 2 tspsalt
  10. 1 tablespoonroasted groundnut powder
  11. somecurry leaves (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    In a kadhai heat one or one and half tablespoon of oil. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds in the above-mentioned quantity.when it breaks add 2 pinch of asafoetida and 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder.

    Add chopped onion and saute it till brown in color.

    Then add half kg of chopped bendi,add 2 teaspoons of salt or as per your taste and mix all ingredients well keep moving the spatula for 7 to 10 min until gets cooked now add red chilli powder and again mix all the ingredients well close the lid of kadhai for 5 min. And finally add one tablespoon roasted groundnut powder and switchoff the gas.

    And simple but tasty bhendi ki sabji is ready to eat.it tastes absolutely yummy. Serve hot with rotis or chapatis😋😍
