Who doesn't love Bhel and Golgappe? And when they are together, it is party time not only for children but us adults too. It's an absolutely amazing idea to combine both of these popular snacks or streetfood and relish them as Bhelpuri Golgappe. Loaded with a bunch of Veggies, it serves as an ideal healthy snack too. The combination of these two famous snacks is quite awesome. The crunch of Bhelpuri in Puris is absolutely delightful. Try this in the evenings at tea-time for your loved ones and friends. They will definitely relish them to the core. I usually make this on Weekends for a healthy and a guilt free Snacking. The Puris are homemade as well. Not only that, it's an absolute delight especially in Winters during those cold evenings and long nights.
A number of freshly chopped Winter Vegetables also go into making the Bhelpuri which is again a perfect choice in the Season.

Ingredients

No Cook Recipe
4-5 servings
  1. 40-45Puris or as needed
  2. 400 gmPuffed Rice or Murmura
  3. 1 tbspChat Masala
  4. 2finely chopped Onions
  5. 3-4finely chopped Tomatoes
  6. 2finely chopped Cucumbers
  7. 1/2 cupfried Peanuts
  8. 1 cupNylon Sev
  9. 1/2 cupfried Chana
  10. 1/4 cupDates Chutney
  11. 1/4 cupGreen Chutney
  12. 1 tspRed Chilli powder or
  13. 2-3finely chopped Green Chillies
  14. 1 tspDry Mango powder or Amchur
  15. 1small bunch chopped Coriander Leaves

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Start by making holes in the centre in all of the Golgappe and set them aside. In a bowl, add in the puffed rice followed by the Veggies.

    Add in all the masalas, including the Coriander Leaves. Mix all the ingredients well. You can use Lemon juice instead of Amchur powder. Start filling all the Gol Gappas and you are ready to enjoy this mouth watering snack !

    It's an absolutely amazing one when sudden hunger pangs strike you or when you feel like having something chatpata. Something like Bhel which has all the perfect combinations in terms of taste, flavour, aroma and texture. An all time hit with my folks. Enjoy!
