Ingredients

  1. 1 cuppoha chiwda (flattened rice)
  2. 1 1/2 cuprefined oil
  3. 2 tbsppeanuts
  4. 1 tspblack pepper powder
  5. 1/4 th tspsalt
  6. 1 tbspsev (optional)
  7. 1onion chopped finely
  8. 1-2green chillies

Cooking Instructions

    Heat refined oil in a wok fuming hot.Lower flame and fry chiwda in batches.The process should be fast otherwise chiwda may turn brown.Quickly remove from oil and drop in a broad steel strainer to remove excess oil.Fry the peanuts golden brown.Mix chiwda, nuts,sev, black pepper and salt to taste.Cool and store in airtight containers. Serve with onion and green chillies.Tastes best if served hot with tea or coffee.
