Ingredients

  1. Preparation
  2. 1 cupsugar
  3. 2 tsplemon zest
  4. 1/2 cup (110 gram)softened butter
  5. 2 tbspoil
  6. 2eggs
  7. 2 tbsplemon juice
  8. 1 1/2 cupall purpose flour
  9. 1 tspbaking powder
  10. 1/2 cupmilk (20ml)
  11. Lemon Glaze
  12. 1/3 cupicing sugar
  13. 2 tbsplemon juice

Cooking Instructions

    Take a bowl add lemon zest, sugar and mix together to infuse oil from the zest.

    Add 1/2 cup softened butter and mix well. Softened butter but not melted. Add oil and switch to whisk this time.

    Mix until light and fluffy or pale yellow.

    Add 2 eggs one at time. Mixing after every addition.

    Add lemon juice and mix well. Add 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour

    Add 1 tsp baking powder,

    Add 1/2 cup milk. Mix with whisk until smooth. Don't over mix.

    Lined with parchment paper.
    Pour the batter in an loaf pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 c for 40 to 50 minutes.

    Check the lemon cake with a toothpick. If it comes out clean it means the lemon cake is done.
    After baking like this. Keep it on a cooling rack and let it cool, then remove the butter paper.

    Let's make the lemon glaze. Take a bowl add icing sugar, lemon juice and mix well.

    Spread on top of cooled lemon cake. Glaze that beauty, Really smells so good.
