Cooking Instructions

Boil green peas & potatoes in pressure cooker. Boil potatoes without any water.Take 3 whistles & wait for pressure to release.Than open the cooker.Remove green peas & potatoes. Cool.

Peel & grate the potatoes. Drain water from green peas.

Take grated potatoes & green peas in a plate. Add chopped coriander, chat masala, Kashmiri red chilli pwd, lemon juice & salt. Mix well.

Divide the mixture in 8 portions. Roll them into round tikkis or shape of your choice.Roll all the tikkis in corn flour or arrow root powder.

Take oil in a non-stick pan.Put 2 tikkis at a time & cook them till they are golden on both the sides.

Remove the tikkis in a plate. Make all tikkis the same way. Serve Punjabi aloo tikkis with tomato ketchup.
