Crispy corn is a popular starter which is present in almost each and every restaurant menu. This snack is prepared from sweet corn kernels, which are deep fried until they are crispy and crunchy and then seasoned with spices and sauces. This flavourful and crispy snack is a perfect choice as a starter, side dish, an evening snack or a late night hungar pangs. I kept it simple by using basic spices and skip sauces to enjoy sweet corn's original flavour.

Ingredients

30 minutes
2 persons
  1. 2 cupboiled sweet corn kernels
  2. 2 tbspall-purpose flour
  3. 1 tbspcorn flour
  4. 1 tbsprice flour
  5. 1 tspblack pepper powder
  6. 1 tbspred chilli powder
  7. 1 tspchaat masala
  8. 1/4 cupfinely chopped onion
  9. 1 tbspfinely chopped coriander
  10. 1lemon
  11. 1 tspsalt

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes

    Add all the three flours, black pepper powder and salt into the boiled corn and toss it well so each corn kernels is coated with flour properly amd stay separate. Then transfer them to strainer and strain the extra flour.

    Heat oil and deep fry them until they turn crispy on medium flame, then transfer it to tissue lined plate.

    Add dry spices, onion, coriander and lemon juice and mix well.

    Enjoy immediately.
