Sun Tea
As a child growing up in the rural south, this was a staple in nearly every household. I remember walking to the local mom and pop grocery with my mother and asking to purchase a gallon pickled bologna jar. Mom kept that old jar for years, replacing the lid occasionally because the old one had gotten too rusty during the colder months. This is a tradition I have faithfully kept up over the years, I suppose out of nostalgia, but also because sun tea is just hard to beat!

Turmeric Paste for tea/gold milk
This made ahead turmeric paste stimulates me to get more turmeric into my body because I don't think it's possible for me to make curry every day. Coconut paste is made simply by blending young coconut meat into a paste. Fresh young coconut doesn't contain as much fat as matured ones yet the fiber rich meat tends to be more sweeter and creamy. My stomach unfortunately cannot tolerate any store bought coconut products that is come from a jar, but you can definitely use 1/2 cup of coconut milk, nut milk or cow’s milk if you can tolerate.

Lemongrass Tea
Dear wifey came home sick today with something that has been going around. I made her a cup of this tea and sent her to bed. Lemongrass is good for all sorts of ailments including: indigestion, anxiety, skin disorders, coughs, colds, fevers, and nasal congestion. In fact, in the Caribbean, they call it "Fever Grass".

Rooibos Tea and Coconut Milk Gummies
My friend found this recipe for gummy sweets and we decided to adapt and make it. No idea where she saw it originally. We used Rooibos tea which has a strong natural red pigment which resulted in a beautiful rusty brown colour. I would be interested to see which other types of tea work here.Edit: found the original. m.news24.com/food24/Recipes-and-Menus/LCHF-Recipes/LCHF-Rooibos-tea-gummies-20150622

Tamagoyaki Made With Burdock Root Tea
Burdock root tea is basically finely chopped burdock, right? I didn't want to be wasteful, so I added them to my tamagoyaki.I tore the tea bag open and there was finely chopped burdock root inside. I figured "I could use this!" I was worried that it might be bitter, so I added a bit of mild, aromatic cheese. The 1.5 g is the weight of the teabag that I used.First, use the burdock root tea to prepare miso soup, then after that, you could use the tea leaves in the tamagoyaki--using the burdock root to its fullest. Lemon Tea Muffins
I was going to make my milk tea muffins when I noticed the lemons in the refrigerator. I was inspired and experimented several times to come up with this recipe. The aroma and flavor will change depending on the type of black tea you use, so please try this out with your favorite black tea as well as other types!※Use plenty of tea leaves to brew a strongly flavored tea (use 3 tea bags, or 1.5 tablespoons of tea leaves in a tea pouch).※Be sure to whip the butter into a creamy state. In step 4, The secret to a light, fluffy batter is to mix each ingredient in very well in step 4! Recipe by Kinakorin

Tea Cakes

Moist and Fluffy Apple and Tea Muffins
I make muffins quite often because they are tasty and easy to make. The combination of apple and tea is my favorite. Here, I held back on sugar and butter to make health conscious muffins.Use pretty moulds and present them to your friends as gifts!-When you add the eggs and milk, add in batches. It is not going to separate and you can proceed with the process easily.-If you want to make it sweeter, add more sugar to the apple filling and increase the sugar in the batter up to 60 g.-Use fine tea leaves. Tea-Infused Bread Pudding with Prunes and Banana
Making use of the chewy texture of "Chojuku" brand sandwich bread, I created a nutritious recipe that can be cooked quickly even on a busy morning.I used a silicone steamer that won't create a lot of washing-up. You can start with a refreshing morning by the sweetness of fruits and the nice flavour of tea.Use a teabag without using a stapler. It's dangerous to microwave metallic objects. Just in case, take the paper label out.If you add the maple syrup to warmed milk, it will dissolve easily, and prevent the egg from hardening with the heat. For 1 serving (400 ml silicone steamer). Microwaved Rich Royal Milk Tea
I didn't like the idea of putting the tea bags in the microwave with the staples attached, so I decided to do it this way.I also find wrapping the teabags up with their string somewhat relaxing.Mind you don't prick yourself when you are removing the staples from the tea bags. Milk Tea Biscuits
In order to make snacks that were gentle on the body and the wallet, I am always thinking of snacks that use small amounts of butter, eggs, and sugar (or don't use at all). You can use potato starch flour in place of the corn starch. When molding in steps 5~7, roll out the dough to about 3 mm thick with a rolling pin, and cut out with a cookie cutter if you like. I don't mind, but cutting it with a cup and serrating the edges will give it a simple appearance and will bring out the delicious crunchiness; it is also more fun to squeeze the edges, so I recommend making it with your kids. Ginger In Honey For Ginger Tea
I've been making this for some time, but after seeing toshiebaba's COOKPAD diary entry (Japanese) about using black tea + ginger to combat viruses, I decided to post this recipe. It's really easy, and you can use it in the wintertime to rev up your metabolism. The honey layes and the ginger juice layers tend to separate, so mix it up before using. After a lot of juice has come out of the ginger, the liquid won't crystalize even if you put the preserved ginger in the refrigerator, and it keeps quite well I think. In the summertime, if you are worried about spoilage, take the ginger out and bring the liquid to a boil before storing. Recipe by Soraten mama

Relaxing Yuzu Tea
Once, when I was having trouble sleeping, I thought I'd make myself a cup of honey tea, but I was out of honey, so I made yuzu tea instead. It was delicious with a calming and gentle taste, so I decided to share it here for everyone to try.Although it's one extra step, I recommend heating your tea cup before making the tea so that it stays warm! In Step 1, feel free to use your favorite black tea or use loose leaf. Adjust the amount of yuzu jam to taste. Recipe by Maa-a

Apple Tea Jam
I was bored with regular apple jam, so I tried to come up with something new and this recipe was born. I imagined tea would be a great match with apples since there is apple tea. I ended up with a jam with a perfect color and smell. Please use any tea and sugar you prefer. I recommend using Earl Grey because of the strong fragrance. I also recommend using Jonathan apples since they don't fall apart when cooked, but I used Fuji this time and it was delicious. Bottle in a small jar, pack it with scones and bread, and it will be a very popular gift! For 1-2 medium jar. Recipe by yaburie.
