Ingredients

  1. 300 gramPaneer (cottage cheese)
  2. 2Green capsicums cut into 1 inch pieces
  3. 1tomato sliced vertically
  4. 1onion sliced vertically
  5. 2 teaspoonsChaat masala
  6. 2 teaspoonsoil
  7. For the marinade
  8. 1 cupHung curd
  9. 2 teaspoonsGinger-garlic Garlic paste
  10. 1/2 teaspoonKashmiri red chilli powder
  11. 2 pinchTurmeric powder
  12. 1 teaspoonGaram masala powder
  13. 2-3 tablespoonFresh cream
  14. 1 teaspoonLemon juice
  15. to tasteSalt and black pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Cut paneer into one and a half inch squares with half inch thickness.

  2. 2

    Deseed the capsicums and tomato.

  3. 3

    Mix together all the ingredients of the marinade.

  4. 4

    Now marinate the paneer cubes, capsicum, tomatoes and onions in it for about half an hour.

  5. 5

    Heat oil on a tawa, place the paneer cubes and shallow fry till golden and crisp on the surface.

    Toss the capsicums, onion and tomato pieces in the remaining marinade and sauté them in the remaining oil on the tawa for two to three minutes on a medium flame.

    Take it out on a plate.

    For the plating

    Place a capsicum piece, tomato and onion pieces on each of the paneer cube and pierce with a decorative toothpick.
