Rice served with green grams (Ndengu)

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2 glassesrice
  2. 2 cupsgreen grams boiled
  3. 3tomatoes
  4. 2onions
  5. 1avocado
  6. 1 bunchcorriander
  7. Salt
  8. 4 spoonscooking oil

Cooking Instructions

    Boil 4 glasses of water in a sufuria, add one table spoon of cooking oil and a pinch of salt. Once boiled add your cleaned rice and let it simmer.

    In another sufuria saute your onion untill browned. Add your tomatoes once cooked add your green grams. Add salt and a little amount of water and let it cook on low heat.

    Mix your cut tomatoes, onion and avocado in a bowl.

    Serve and enjoy while hot.
