Mix all ingredients, saving 1 cup of cheese to sprinkle on top

Cook covered on crock-pot for 3 hours

DO NOT LIFT LID UNTIL DONE

You can double this recipe by doubling everything except butter and milk. Use only 1/2 stick of butter and about 2 1/4 cups milk.
