Ingredients

  1. 1 cupTomato puree
  2. 2 finely choppedOnion
  3. 1 (cut in vertical pieces)Capsicum
  4. 1 finely choppedCarrot
  5. 2Green chillies
  6. 9-10Curry leaves
  7. 2 tbspCooking oil
  8. 2cupsButton idlies
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. Soya sauce:[optional]

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves and onion. Fry till it becomes transparent

  2. 2

    Add capsicum, green chillies, carrot and fry for 5 minutes. Add tomato puree and salt and cook till it leaves the water. Add soya sauce (optional) and idly. Cook for another 5 minutes.

    Rve hot with Coconut chutney, Tomato sauce or Coriander/Mint chutney

  4. 4

    Is good to have it for breakfast or evening supper

  5. 5

    Tip...we can use leftover idlies
