Ingredients

  1. 1 cupgram flour (Besan) -
  2. 1Onion large finely grated
  3. 2Potatoes finely grated
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 2 pinchRed chillies -
  6. 2 tspCurd- or soda - pinch
  7. 1/2 tspCumins seeds -
  8. to tasteChat masala -

Cooking Instructions

    Finely grated onions & potatoes. Take a bowl add all ingredients in gram flour (besan).leave for 5 mins.your batter is ready now.

    Heat the appe pan on medium heat.Once hot coat it with oil, or add a drop of oil in each appe. I simply use a silicone brush to do so, it helps in coating it evenly and uses less oil.

    Make small balls or rounds of the mixture and add it in each appe.Let it cook on slow to medium gas on one side.

    Once golden brown turn it and cook it on the other side. One can drizzle very little oil (or drop of oil) from the sides.

    In appe pan, one needs to keep turning it and let it cook on all sides. Once it is golden brown on all sides it is ready.

    Fritters are ready to serve.serve hot with tea & sauce.enjoy!
