Okonomiyaki (Japanese Savoury Pancake) with Tofu Okonomiyaki (Japanese Savoury Pancake) with Tofu
I come from the Kansai region, so I love okonomiyaki! My Singaporean husband also loves it. It's easy to eat a lot without thinking, I added tofu and hijiki as a healthy choice. It turns very soft and delicious. We both ate too much of this!!This mixture is little bit soft, so please be careful when you turn it over! First cook one side very well until nicely golden brown, then slowly turn it over. If you add more flour, it will be easier to flip, but I cook with less flour. It's also easier if you cook it in smaller batches. This recipe is vegetarian, so if you're not, add some pork or seafoood. For 2 servings. Recipe by Lantana cookpad.japan -

Simple but Addictive Cabbage Okonomiyaki (Savory Pancake) Simple but Addictive Cabbage Okonomiyaki (Savory Pancake)
I got a lot of cabbage, so I made this to use it up.I heard there's "Cabbage-yaki (Cabbage okonomiyaki)" in the Kansai region.I was going to name it differently but I just cooked the cabbage so...Remember that this is different from the authentic Cabbage-yaki.Add some tempura crumbs or bonito flakes if you like. Make it in your own way (lol). Recipe by SuYoungKim cookpad.japan -

Both adults and children love the combination of okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise. Using those two kinds of sauces, I put together this simple recipe to use up bean sprouts!Make sure to drain the bean sprouts well. I thought about listing only 2 eggs, but I recommend that you make lots of scrambled eggs with 3. For 1 serving. Recipe by Yumirantan cookpad.japan -

☆Low-Carb☆ Cabbage Okonomiyaki-Style Pancake Without Flour ☆Low-Carb☆ Cabbage Okonomiyaki-Style Pancake Without Flour
With cabbage, eggs, and cheese, you can make an okonomiyaki-style pancake without any flour! The story behind this recipeI'm on a low-carb diet, and on days when my family wants okonomiyaki, it's a hassle to make a separate meal just for myself! I wondered if I could make something similar using the same ingredients (*^^*). I'm not strictly low-carb, so I use sauce and mayo, but if you're concerned, you can use soy sauce and mayo instead.ズボラダイエッター

Low-Sugar Okonomiyaki-Style Okara Pancakes Low-Sugar Okonomiyaki-Style Okara Pancakes
I make this okonomiyaki once a week. I am always changing the ingredient and amounts, and trying out various things. The batter is made with just okara, and it tends to dry out...Adjust the cooking time accordingly. This dish is made with just a little kanten powder, but it helps keep the okonomiyaki from falling apart, and seems to reduce the overall dryness of the okara. Fluffy Okonomiyaki Fluffy Okonomiyaki
I have made okonomiyaki countless times at home but it was always hard and didn't taste very good... So I researched and tried out various methods, and this is the most delicious way I came up with. It's now one of my family's go-to recipes.Point 1: Let the ingredients rest.Point 2: Make sure to whip air into the dough when mixing.Point 3: Don't press down on the pancake when cooking. This will make it fluffy! Recipe by chi-bo-3 cookpad.japan -
An Osaka Aunties' Okonomiyaki An Osaka Aunties' Okonomiyaki
I was born and raised in Osaka! We always cook Okonomiyaki at home!We don't use Okonomiyaki flour!Using Nagaimo yams and dashi stock, the outside is crunchy, and the inside is fluffy. It won't lose to local restaurants~You can eyeball the ingredients; just mix it all up thoroughly until it comes together. You can cook up 4 okonomiyaki pancakes if you stretch the batter; cook them up into easy-to-eat portions, but don't press down on them.Pork belly meat is the best! Pour on the sauce without worrying about the calories~. For 4 okonomiyaki pancakes. Recipe by Yururintsukurun cookpad.japan -
Fluffy Light Okonomiyaki Fluffy Light Okonomiyaki
I think our family recipe for okonomiyaki is better than restaurant quality. We use "Otafuku" brand okonomiyaki sauce. I use less okonomiyaki flour than is indicated on the package since I add tofu and yamaimo yam to the batter. Use as little batter as possible for light and fluffy okonomiyaki pancakes.I know it's a bother, but chop the cabbage up finely! Recipe by amamitu cookpad.japan
