I had run out of chocolate chips and decided to use roughly chopped chocolate and the results were much better!

Ingredients

12 pieces
  1. 1/2 cupgranulated sugar
  2. 1/2 cupmargarine/butter
  3. 3/4 cupsunsweetened cocoa powder
  4. 2large eggs
  5. 3/4 cupself-raising flour
  6. 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  7. Roughly chopped chocolate
  8. Milk to serve

Cooking Instructions

    Prepare your ingredients

    For the wet ingredients Cream your margarine/butter and sugar together until very light and fluffy

  3. 3

    Whip in one egg at a time as you mix them in.
    Add in your vanilla essence.

    For the dry ingredients: sieve in the self raising flour and cocoa powder together

  5. 5

    Add them to the wet ingredients and fold in till well incorporated. Lastly add in the roughly chopped chocolate chunks

  6. 6

    Grease a square/rectangular pan and line with parchment paper (optional)

  7. 7

    Add the brownie batter and bake at 180•C for 12-15 minutes. Check the doneness with a skewer or toothpick

  8. 8

    Let them cool slightly before slicing them and serving

  9. 9

    Serve warm with some milk!
