Saucy Honey Turkey (or Chicken)

I bought a couple pounds of turkey breast "strips" on sale which turned out to be already cut up turkey breast so I whipped this up to go with some of my fried rice. Yum!
This made a LOT more sauce than I thought it would so if you want it less saucy you could cut the sauce ingredients in half or double the meat.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
In a medium bowl wisk together all ingredients for the sauce except the cornstarch until well blended.
- 2
Heat a skillet or wok over medium high heat. Add oil. As soon as it "shimmers" add turkey and stir fry until cooked through, about 5 minutes.
- 3
Wisk cornstarch into sauce. Add sauce to turkey. Bring sauce to a boil and simmer until thickened, stirring frequently, about another 5 minutes. Serve over rice or noodles. Enjoy!

Even though daily cooking tends to be quite repetitive, sometimes you stop making something for no clear reason. The other day my eldest son was fondly remembering a chicken dish I used to make for a quick and tasty school day dinner years ago. So I made it as a Summer lunch today, using turkey instead of chicken, and happily it tasted the way he remembered 😊 Becky -

When cooking eggs, its important to have your pan fry in a perfect temperature. I can be impatient so my trick is to start with a medium heat. Before I cook, I drop a pinch of water to check if its ready. Then I lower down the temperature. This trick can help you avoid sticky pan fry as well!Happy cooking la!!! Xox _meowsk -
