Ingredients

  1. 1 cupGram flour
  2. 1/2 cupCurd
  3. 1 tspGreen chilli and ginger paste
  4. 1/2 tspTermeric powder -
  5. to tasteSalt
  6. 1 tbspOil
  7. 1 tspMustard seeds
  8. 1 tspSesame seeds
  9. 1 tspSoda bicarbonate / Eno
  10. 2 tbspCoriander leaves finely chopped
  11. 7-8Carry leave
  12. 2-3 tspSugar
  13. 3-4Green chillies

Cooking Instructions

    Take a cup of gram flour in a bowl. Add curd and 1/2 cup of warm water and mix it. Add salt, turmeric and mix it. Leave for 3 - 4 hours.

    After that in this mixture add green chillie - ginger paste. Heat the steamer. Grase a mold. In a small bowl take soda bicarbonate, lemon juice, one tsp of oil and mix it well. Add this mixture to the batter and whisk it.

    Pour batter into a greased mold or thali and place it in the steamer. Cover it for 15 - 20 minutes. Remove the cover and let it cool, cut it into squares and place it in the plate.

    Heat oil in a small pan. Add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, green chillies, carry leaves. When the seeds begin to crackle add 1/2 cup of water in it and add sugar in it. When sugar is dissolve in water. Remove from the heat and pour it over the dhokla. Garni

    Garnish with coriander leaves..
