Ingredients

  1. 1 cupflour
  2. 1shallow tsp salt
  3. 1shallow tsp egg yellow colour
  4. 4 clovescrushed garlic
  5. 1small crushed ginger
  6. Deep frying oil
  7. 15potatoes
  8. Water
  9. 1 cupflour
  10. 1shallow tsp salt
  11. 1shallow tsp egg yellow colour
  12. 4 clovescrushed garlic
  13. 1small crushed ginger
  14. Deep frying oil
  15. 15potatoes
  16. Water

Cooking Instructions

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash the potatoes and boil until cooked but not mashed

  2. 2

    Mix the flour, salt, ginger, garlic and food colour and pour in little water at a time until you make a smooth paste

  3. 3

    Peel the potatoes and cut into smaller sizes

  4. 4

    Heat the deep frying oil

  5. 5

    Deep the cut potatoes in the smooth paste you made and put in the oil to fry repeat the process.

  6. 6

    You can serve with ukwaju or chatni or simply chilli and tomato sauce
