Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsSelf-Raising Flour
  2. 100 gmsbutter/ margarine
  3. 1&1/2 cups if Milk
  4. 1/2 cupsugar
  5. 1&1/2 tbsp icing sugar for the glaze
  6. Mixed nuts chopped(optional)
  7. Mixed dry berries,fruits(optional)
  8. 1 tspcinnamon powder

Cooking Instructions

    Rub the butter & flour till it resembles bread crumbs

  2. 2

    Then bind the dough with milk, into a medium dough

  3. 3

    Let this rest for 1 hour

  4. 4

    Divide in two batches. Roll it in a round shape or a square

  5. 5

    Spread margarine with a pastry brush or butter knife.Sprinkle the sugar & cinnamon

  6. 6

    Add the fruits or berries if using

  7. 7

    Roll it like swissroll. Roll it tight. Cut thick pieces of the roll

  8. 8

    Let it rest for 15-20 mins

  9. 9

    Now after rest bake @180°c for 15-20 mins or till golden brown

  10. 10

    Let them cool & you can drizzle with icing sugar,lemon zest & milk glaze

  11. 11

    When done they should look cooked all thru or golden brown
