Ingredients

  1. 1 cupMakani dal
  2. as neededButter
  3. as neededCoriander leaves for garnish
  4. 5-6Tomatoes
  5. 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  6. 1-2 sticksCinnamon pow
  7. 2-3Green cardomon
  8. 1 tspCumin seeds
  9. 1 tspDal makani masala
  10. 2 tablespoonCream
  11. 1 glassMilk
  12. 1 teaspoonRed chilli pow
  13. 2-3 tspDesi ghee
  14. 1/4 tspHing /asafoetida

Cooking Instructions

    First boil the dal along with salt, cinnamon stick and cardomon give 5 to 6 whistle

    In one pan add ghee 2 to 3 tsp add cumin seed along hing and add chopped tomatoes or puree, ginger garlic paste cook for while add all dry masala your masala is ready for dal

    Now if your dal is tender and cooked nicely then in slow flame add milk along cream or Malai in slow flame cook for at least 10 minutes then add masala and cook for at least 15 minutes when your dal is ready add butter and garnish it with coriander leaves

    Serve it with tandoori roti or naan
