Khoya Gulab jamun

Khoya gulab jamuns are soft,spongy and juicy balls dipped in sugar syrup. It's one of the the most popular Indian sweets and a must on Holi.
So serve your guests this delicious sweet and enjoy Holi.
Cooking Instructions

Mix khoya and cardomom powder with your hands until smooth.

Now mix all purpose flour and warm milk and mash till a smooth dough is formed.

Let it rest for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile heat sugar, water and cardomom powder in a pan.cook it for 5-6 minutes.

Now add rose water to the syrup.

Now give a quick knead to the dough. Make 20 small,smooth balls with soft hands.

Heat oil in a pan and fry these balls on medium flame till they are golden brown in colour.

Drop the balls in warm sugar syrup and let it soaked in syrup for at least 30 minutes.

Garnish with crushed nuts and serve to your guests.
