Kulhad Chaat is a famous street food of Nagpur (Maharashtra). The Kulhad Chaat, a unique dish, and like a twist in a normal chaat. It was named Kulhad Chaat because it was served in a clay pot. In general, the look is similar to ragda puri / patties. The chaat is freshly prepared and taken in a kulhad and served with chutney, save and yoghurt.

  1. ♈️ For Making Ragda -
  2. 2 cupsPeas
  3. 4potatoes
  4. 3 cupswater
  5. 1 tbspoil
  6. 1 tbspgrated ginger
  7. 3nos chopped chillies
  8. 3 tbspchopped onion
  9. 1 tspchilly powder
  10. 1/2 tsproasted cumin powder
  11. 1 tspchaat masala
  12. 1/2 tspblack salt
  13. 1/2 tspamchoor powder
  14. 4 tbsproasted peanuts
  15. 1/2 cupwater
  16. 2 tbspchopped onion
  17. 2nos chopped tomatoes
  18. 2 tbspgreen chutney
  19. 2 tbspsweet chutney
  20. 1 tbsplemon juice
  21. Salt to taste
  22. ♈️ For Serving -
  23. 1 cupwhipped yogurt
  24. 1/2 cupnylon save
  25. 1/2 cupboondi
  26. 1/2 cuponion
  27. 1/2 cupcoriander
  28. 1/2 cuppomegranate
  29. 1 tbspchilly powder
  30. 1 tbspchaat masala
  31. 6Nos. Papadi

રાંધવાની સૂચનાઓ

  1. 1

    Soak white peas in water overnight and remove excess water. Then, add peas, add potato, water in a cooker and blow 3 whistles.

    Prepare the chutney & whisk the yoghurt. Then, heat oil in a pan, add grated ginger, chopped green chillies, onion and saute.

    Then, mix red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, black salt, amchoor powder on low flame, after roast well, add roasted peanuts and mix well.

    Now, add water and boiled peas and half smash. Then add chopped onion, tomato, potato, green chutney, sweet chutney, salt and mix well.

    Now turn off the gas and add lemon juice, chopped coriander and mix well.

    Then add the prepared chaat into a kulhad. Top with yogurt, nylon save, boondi, onion, pomegranate seeds. Now sprinkle some chilly powder, chaat masala on it then add papdi and tomato slices.

    So, Nagpuri Kulhad Chaat is ready.
