Winter comes with lots of green veggies. Like green onion, green garlic, green turmeric and many more. To boost the immune system all these winter veggies are required and we find dishes that include them. In our home during winters special Green kadhi is made with all of these greens. This tastes yumm and is healthy too. It is generally served with Pear Millet roti or simple khichadi .

  1. 1 cupregular curd
  2. 1.5 tbspchickpea flour
  3. 1 cupspring onions and green garlic (green and white part)
  4. 1 cubefresh ginger
  5. 1 cubefresh green turmeric
  6. 2green chillies
  7. 5-6garlic cloves
  8. 6-7moringa leaves
  9. 2 tspghee
  10. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  11. 1/4 tspwhole fenugreek seeds
  12. 1/4 tspasafoetida
  13. 1dried red chilli
  14. 2cloves
  15. 2-3black pepper
  16. 2 tbspcoriander chopped
  17. to tasteSalt
  18. 1 tspJaggery
  19. Water as required

    With the help of blender mix curd and chickpea flour and keep aside. Make paste of ginger, fresh turmeric, garlic and green chillies. Take all ingredients for tempering.

    In a pan heat ghee. When hot add in all whole spices. Add asafoetida and green onions and green garlic chopped. Add in paste of chillies and garlic ginger turmeric. Saute for 2-3 mins.

    Add in mixture of chickpea flour and curd. Add 1 કપ water. Mix well.

    Now add salt asper taste and one ચમચી jaggery. Bring it to boil with continues stirring for 6-8 mins.

    Add coriander and serve hot with roti and khichadi.

    You can add green pigeon peas and fresh fenugreek leaves too. Any veggies of your choice can be combined.
