Ingredients

  1. 1 bowlmung dal
  2. 1 cupwhole wheat flour
  3. 1onion (diced)
  4. 1/4 spooncumin seeds
  5. 1/4 spooncarom seeds
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. to tasteChilli powder
  8. 1 spoonghee
  9. Water as required to knead a smooth dough
  10. Ghee/oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Take a bowl and add all the ingredients to it and knead a smooth dough. Leave the dough for 10 minutes so it can form gluten in it.

    Now put a pan/tawa to heat and take some part of the dough and roll it in a smooth ball and the flatten it into a chapati.

    Now put it on heated tawa and cook it from both sides till turn golden brown. Then apply a spoon of ghee on it and cook it for few seconds and your dal ka pratha is ready. You can serve it with veggie, raita, achar and salad and have complete healthy lunch ready to serve.
