Ingredients

30 minutes
4 people
  1. 1/2 cupbarnyard millet
  2. 4 tbspcoarsely grinded peanuts
  3. As required Coarsely grinded green chillies and curry
  4. 2 tbspPeanuts
  5. 1 tspCumin seeds
  6. As per taste Rock salt
  7. 2 tbspGhee
  8. ForCucumber raita:
  9. 1 cupGrated cucumber
  10. 2 cupscurd
  11. 1 tspsugar
  12. As per taste Salt
  13. 1 tspChopped green chillies

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add ghee to kadhai. Fry peanuts and remove it and keep it aside. Add cumin seeds, green chilli and curry leaves in it and saute for a minute

    Add barnyard millet to it and saute for 2 minutes. Add coarsely grinded peanuts to it. Mix it.

    Add hot water to it. Cook it till it becomes soft. barnyard millet Upma is ready to serve.

    Garnish it with fried peanuts and chopped coriander.

  5. 5

    Add curd to vessel, beat curd. Add grated cucumber, sugar, salt, chopped chillies and coriander. Mix it well. Raita is ready to serve.
