Ingredients

  1. 300 gmsprawns deviened and cleaned
  2. 2 tbspchilli powder
  3. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  4. as per taste Salt
  5. 2medium sized raw mangoes sliced
  6. 4green chilllies,slit
  7. 5-6shallots, crushed
  8. 1" ginger finely chopped
  9. leavesFew Curry
  10. 2 cupsThin coconut milk
  11. 1 cupThick coconut milk

Cooking Instructions

    Heat a mannchatti (clay pot) on high flame and add onions,chillies,ginger,curry leaves,chilli powder and coriander powder saute for 30secs.

    Now add thin coconut milk and salt then bring it to a boil now add raw mango slices and close with a lid and turn down the heat till mango mangoes get cooked and imparts a tangy flavor the gravy

    Add prawns and cook till gravy is thick it takes 4-5mins.

    Once the gravy is thick add thick coconut milk,here check for salt and bring it to a boil once done turn off the heat.

    Lastly sprinkle some curry leaves and close the lid, let it sit for atleat 30mins for the flavors to seep in nicely.

    If you want you can temper it with shallots in coconut oil till brown, tastes even better
