Ingredients

  1. For Spring Roll Sheet
  2. 2 cupsRefined flour
  3. 1 tspOil
  4. as neededWater
  5. For Stuffing
  6. 200 gBoneless chicken
  7. 2 tbspOil
  8. 1 tbspCrushed Garlic
  9. 1 tbspCrushed Ginger
  10. 1Egg
  11. 1Onion
  12. 1/2 cupCabbage(shredded)
  13. 1Carrot(juliens)
  14. 1/2 tspSalt
  15. 1/2 tspBlack pepper powder
  16. 1 tbspSoy sauce
  17. 1 tbspCoriander leaves (finely chopped)
  18. 1 tbspGreen Chilli sauce
  19. 1 tbspTomato sauce
  20. as required Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Cut all veggies and kerp aside.

    Heat 1 cup water in a skillet, add boneless chicken, stir well and bring it to a boil.

    Boil until the chicken is cooked through, then remove it from heat, drain the chicken and cut it into small pieces.

    Heat oil in a skillet, add crushed garlic, ginger and stir for a minute.

    Add slice onion and fry for a minute.

    Now, add carrot, cabbage and mix it well.

    Add 1 egg and stir well.

    Add salt, black pepper and mix well.

    Now add soy sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce and coriander.

    Cook for 3 - 4 minutes on medium heat, then remove it from heat and keep aside.

    Knead a soft dough from maida, oil, salt and water.

    Keep covered dough for 15 minutes, then make small size balls from it.

    Roll a dough ball like poori in 3 inch diameter and brush oil on poori.

    Roll another poori and keep this on previous poori.

    Roll both pooris together and make a thin big size chapati.

    Cut it in square shape and cook on a nonstick tawa for 5 seconds from both sides.

    Separate both rotis from each other and make all sheets with same process.

    Keep stuffing on a sheet and apply maida paste on side of sheet.

    Fold and close the roll like envelope and make all roll with same process.

    Fry rolls in hot oil till golden in colour.

    Remove from oil and keep on paper towels.

    Enjoy hot and crispy chicken spring roll with any sauce.
